Transportation Critical Infrastructures: risk management without borders

Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering is a scientific partner of the Security of Cross-Border Critical Infrastructures ("SICt - Sicurezza delle Infrastrutture Critiche transfrontaliere") project, financed by the Interreg Italy-Switzerland 2014-2020 cooperation programme. The project had its kick-off in April 2019.

The other partners in the project are Lombardy Region (the consortium leader), Repubblica e Cantone Ticino - Dipartimento del territorio, Politecnico di Milano - Mobility and Transport Laboratory and Scuola universitaria professionale della Svizzera italiana (SUPSI).

The scope of the project is to improve the capacity to manage accidental events involving transportation and energy Critical Infrastructures between Italy and Switzerland, thanks to implementation of the advanced technologies for monitoring and information flows between the involved actors.
